HOW BIG WILL THIS PUPPY GET ??? This is asked all the time.. and all I can tell you is : CLICK PARENT'S NAMES !!!..FOR WHAT THEY WEIGH. Puppy is usually between their size..but like kids can be larger or smaller than either parent. You might have to back up a click or two.. for an active link. I can tell you if the puppy is a larger or smaller within the litter. We are also asked: WHAT IS THE EXACT AIR FARE COST ? WE MIGHT HAVE NEW INFORMATION REGARDING AIR FARE. NW HAD A COMPLICATED SCHEDULE OF BASE PRICE, TAXES, FUEL SURCHARGE, SECURITY..ALL BASED ON WEIGHT. WE ARE HOPING TO USE A DIFFERENT AIRLINE.. GREAT LAKES OUT OF WILLISTON. THEY HAVE A BASE PRICE ..ON SIZE OF KENNEL..REGARDLESS OF WEIGHT SO THIS MAY BE MUCH SIMPLIER..WILL UPDATE WHEN I KNOW DETAILS.

DEPOSIT is required to hold...NON REFUNDABLE and non transferrable if you change your mind. NO EXCEPTIONS ! Deposits can be made by Money Order, Cashier Check or Bank Wire Deposit. WE DO NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL..PLEASE INCLUDE 3% FOR THEIR CHARGE. PLUS thirty cents per transaction. YOU MUST REQUEST THAT I EMAIL YOU AN INVOICE THAT YOU USE TO PAY.
PLEASE.. NO personal checks. IF you do send a deposit.. puppy will be held until check clears.. IF NSF.. there will be an extra charge of $40.. for our time, and phone calls. Deposit of 1/2 the price the puppy required to hold. We do not have to have received the deposit to hold..just have to know it has been SENT. Payment made to Wild Wind Kennel. Mailing address on all emails. It is up to YOU to be sure your puppy is paid in full well before shipping or delivery may be delayed !!! NOTE: If you have a puppy ON HOLD.. and do not have it paid in full by 8 weeks..you MUST contact us and make arrangements OR we will assume you have changed your mind and you will lose deposit and we will relist the puppy !!! WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO SELL A PUPPY ..IF WE FEEL IT IS NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PUPPY.. WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE PRICES UP OR DOWN AS THE PUPPY DEVELOPS in size and color. IF YOU HAVE SENT DEPOSIT OR PAYMENT..THE PRICE WILL NOT CHANGE FOR YOU. IT WILL BE THE ORIGINAL AGREED UPON PRICE. If you have a N.D. address there is 5% State Sales Tax !!!

ABOUT US: We are a family operated kennel. All puppies are raised here by us. We own both parents. We do not buy puppies from someone else..except for new breeding stock. It is our goal to produce, happy, healthy, correct companion puppies...that will be part of your life for a long time. We have raised puppies for 21 years. This is our ONLY business. We care for the puppies 24/7. We do not sell to pet shops, brokers or research centers. Just one family at a time. We have been inspected, twice, totally unannounced by AKC and passed on ALL points. Inspected, again..unannounced by our ND State Vet. His report says \"appears to be a very well run kennel\". References from our vet, our Mountrail County Deputy Sheriff....(He has a puppy from our kennel and visits our kennel occasionally)..plus references from many buyers available. Just ask. Visitors to kennel welcome with appointment.

We used to ship through Northwest Airlines out of Minot, ND. but they have changed ownership and scheduling..so we may use Bismarck, or Williston. We try to ship puppies that are ready in a group..as we are 50 miles from Minot.. nearly 3 hours from Bismarck and over 2 hours from Williston.. (one way)..and they must be there VERY early in the morning. We normally ship one day per week...usually on Thursday or Friday. Greg has to leave here at 1 in the morning.. that is why we try to limit shipping to one day per week. We CAN ship any day..any departure time..but if it is special request..and is the only puppy going out...we do charge an extra $50..for special handling. If you are local.. and pick up or delivery cannot be finalized..due to weather or personal delay and you no longer want the puppy.. payment will be forfeited. We do not give refunds for conditions that are beyond our control.

Larger pups like Golden Retrievers or Golden Doodles "could" go at 8 weeks. ..but may benefit by staying until they get their 9 week vaccination. Medium puppies such as bigger Cockapoos, some Schnauzers may be able to go at 10 weeks. Small puppies cannot go until a minimum of 10 weeks and possibly 12 to 14 weeks before we are comfortable letting them go. This is to ensure you have no trouble with them eating in a strange environment and possibly getting hypoglycemia. NOTE !!! IF you are getting a small breed puppy you must be familiar with recognizing/preventing/treating hypoglycemia. PLEASE do not ask us to ship them before we feel they are ready. If the puppy IS ready and you want them held..we do charge $3 per day.

NOTE: The airline requires a minimum of 10 degrees at time of check in at departure..in winter. ..and it must not be over 85 degrees at point of arrival in summer. Because of temp. requirements, overbooking, unexpected passengers.. we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. FLASH !!! NEW INFO !!! SOME DESTINATIONS WILL GO COUNTER TO COUNTER AND TEMP RESTRICTIONS WILL NOT APPLY. :-)

Puppies are inspected by a veterinarian before shipping and must be found healthy at that time. After they leave our care we cannot be responsible for their health. Pups have a TWO year written genetic guarantee for major, life threatening conditions. Guarantee is for the original owner only. All guarantees are void if the puppy is NOT spayed/neutered by 6 months of age as it is proven to prevent many health issues. All puppies have vaccinations and deworming current to their age and a copy is provided.

Our HANDLING CHARGES are $75.....for the crate, vet check, health certificate, trip to vet, trip to airline. Price of puppy plus handling is paid to us. IF IT IS A LARGER THAN NORMAL PUPPY.. A LARGER CRATE MAY BE NEEDED AT EXTRA COST. Handling charges are only for puppies shipped by air. IF YOUR PUPPY IS OVER 90 DAYS OLD..RABIES VACCINATION IS REQUIRED BY THE AIRLINE. $16..FOR THAT..WILL INCLUDE TAG AND CERTIFICATE IN YOUR NAME. That can be sent along with the handling.. will be $91 for handling if rabies is included.

WE ENCOURAGE SHARING SHIPPING..AS THAT WILL DIVIDE THE COST. See if any friends are looking for a puppy. We can ship ..2 crates to one person's name for just a little additional for weight.

We can ship to any airport that Northwest, or Great Lakes flies to..and any airport that accepts puppies. Not all airports do. Some airports do not accept puppies on weekends.

(Usually one or 2 days previously. Puppy has passed vet exam and is considered healthy. If puppy is found unsuitable for sale by your vet, full purchase price will be refunded upon immediate return of puppy at buyer's expense. We do not pay for tests, X Rays, blood work, office calls or medication. Internal and external parasites are excluded in our warranty. We do our best to produce a puppy that is free of parasites ...but since they are common in puppies it is not always possible. Puppy has a genetic guarantee against major defects for 2 years from date of birth. Major defects are that which may endanger the puppy's life or that may affects it's purpose as a pet. Minor defects such as off bite, small hernias or undecended testicles can develop several months after purchase and are not reason for return or refund. Such conditions, if known, will be pointed out before the sale. Should a major defect develop, a vet report clearly stating the condition as genetic or congenital must be provided to seller before a partial or full refund will be considered. At no time will any refund ever exceed the original purchase price of the puppy. Defect must be serious enough that puppy cannot fulfill it's purpose as a pet. Puppy is sold as pet quality, unless otherwise specified. Seller does not guarantee final size, color or temperament. Spaying or neutering will enhance the life of the pet and is highly recommended around 6 months of age. Buyer should be aware that abrupt changes in diet, water and environment can cause loose stool, stress cough, low blood sugar or eating problems. Once the puppy leaves our care, we cannot be held responsible for any consequences of low blood sugar. It is up to the buyer to be knowledgeable on recognizing, preventing or treating low blood sugar. It can kill small puppies quickly. Consult vet advise if such problems occur. Puppy must be kept current on vaccinations and deworming and should not be exposed to areas where unvaccinated dogs have been. Be especially careful in a vet's office. Feed a top quality, nationally recognized puppy food. Food should be meat based..not corn as the first ingredient. Wild Wind Kennel will remain interested in your puppy for it's entire life. Please send pics and updates when you can, and include breed and birthdate. Also your email address. Buyer must read and agree to terms and return a signed copy to seller within 1 week of receiving the puppy in order for guarantee to be in effect.
